* Reception Treatment Equipment
  1. Refuse reception: Garbage trucks shall be weighted at the weigh station first after entering the plant, and then unload the refuse into the refuse bunker in the dumping area.
  2. Refuse storage: Refuse bunker has a capacity equivalent to six-day of refuse volume (9000 square meters).
  3. Refuse drop: Refuse crane grabs and drops the refuse into the refuse charging hopper, through which the refuse enters the incinerator.
  4. Refuse incineration: Refuse is effectively incinerated in the grate that comprises feeding stage, drying stage, burning stage, and post-burning stage. The temperature in the incinerator is maintained between 850 to 1050 ¢X C .

* Ash Treatment Equipment
  1. Slag treatment: Incineration slag is cooled and moistened by slag feeder, and transported to ash bunker by vibrating ash conveyor.
  2. Ash crane: Ash crane grabs and loads the slag onto slag truck, which shall carry the slag to a sanitary landfill site for burying or to recycle.
* Flue Gas Treatment Equipment
  1. Nitrogen oxide compound: The nitrogen oxide compound i n the flue gas is reduced to less than 105 ppm with denitrification t echnique of Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction (SNCR).
  2. Hydrogen Chloride: Hydrogen chloride in the flue gas is reduced to less than 25 ppm in the semi-dry scrubber.
  3. Dioxin: Dioxin in the flue gas is reduced to 0.1 ng-T by activated carbon equipment.
  4. Smoke: Smoke in the flue gas is reduced to less than 20mg/ by bag filter dust collector.
  5. Induced Draft Fan: The flue gas treated by bag filter dust collector is heated by re-heater before it is pumped and vented out through stack.
  6. Stack: The stack is 100 meters high and has three steel smoke pipes and service spiral stairs in side.
* Air Treatment Equipment
The air in the refuse bunker and the plant is separated into primary and secondary air and pumped into incinerator as the source of air for burning. This procedure produces a negative pressure inside the plant, providing an odorless plant environment by fresh.
* Waste Heat Recovery System
Waste heat recovery boiler: The high temperature waste air produced during incineration of refuse is cooled by boiler to recover the heat energy in the form of steam.
* Waste Water Treatment Equipment
  1. Waste water discharge value: Biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) is below 20hg/L. Suspended solid (SS) is below 30mg/L. Heavy metal of mercury is below 0.005mg/L. COD is below 100mg/L.
  2. Sludge treatment: The sludge produced from the treatment of waste water is dewatered to make sludge cakes, which are shipped to the sanitary landfill site for burial.
* Fly Ash Treatment Equipment

The fly ash collected at the boiler, semi-dry scrubber, and bag filter dust collector is sent to curing equipment via fly ash conveyer for processing. Fly ash, cement, and heavy metal chelating agents are mixed together in a fixed ratio for curing procedure. The cured fly ash is further tested with toxicity characteristic leaching procedure (TCLP) and dioxin toxicity equivalent procedure; if regulations are met, then the cured fly ash shall be shipped to the sanitary landfill site for burial.
Refuse reception, state of burning inside the incinerator, boiler operation, and density of vented smoke are monitored and controlled by technicians at Central Control Room with distributed control system (DCS) and recycled with the cogeneration method.
